io spotlights – pure minimalism
With its io und lui spotlights, Occhio is expanding the successful 3d system to include two new series of recessed and surface-mounted spotlights that inspire with exceptional minimalism. The design of the new io und lui spotlight systems is based on the classic forms of sphere and cylinder. The movability of the spotlights is revealed through its geometry; the hinges are not visible. Its pure form can thus be displayed to its best advantage. Magical movement functions and lighting technology refinements complement one another to form unique, multifunctional systems. Magical movability - thanks to the virtually invisible separation of the two sphere halves, the io giro surface-mounted spotlight can be freely rotated and pivoted without changing its form. In doing so, the characteristic Occhio lens provides various lighting effects in extraordinary quality. The recessed io piano takes the design and lighting effects of io and integrates them in the ceiling, thus completing the range of applications. io and lui surface-mounted spotlights feature the new Occhio »light engine« in mains voltage LED technology and do not require remote power supply units. io and lui spotlights will be available beginning in the second half of 2016.
