Hudson Bar
Replacing a hidden barbershop in the tiny vaulted backroom of Budapest’s staple underground cocktail bar Hotsy Totsy, Hudson Bar offers a multisensory experience for those who wander through its burgundy curtains. Building around the feeling of desire, Noumen Studio carefully calibrated every aspect of the space to achieve a dramatic yet seductive environment for guests to leave their troubles behind.

In its 20m2 floor area, the bar is composed of a few dynamic gestures that organize the space while concealing all the existing mechanical fixtures. Snohetta + WERK Arkitekter unveil an architectural landmark inspired by boat construction in Denmark
The seaport town Esbjerg on the west coast of Denmark welcomes a new maritime centre designed by Oslo-based Snohetta and Danish firm WERK Arkitekter. The centre was developed as a shared area for watersports clubs and visitors along the port and to give the town a community hub and architectural landmark.

Sitting on a man-made island, the structure pays tribute to the maritime heritage of the Danish seaport city by accommodating numerous watersports clubs, boat storage, training facilities, a sizable workshop space, and social events.
